… in Full Bloom

The second kit under the Crossroads II line is called Full Bloom. I enjoyed myself tremendously while creating this set, detailing the various blooms and mix-matching the color swatches for bright and joyful pages you can make without much effort.

Simple scrapping is possible with this set. No “software” tricks needed to make your page lively and striking! This set would do that for you! It joyfully follows Patchwork which was unveiled in the previous post and which is as bright and as joyful too!

The entire Crossroads II line is made up of FOUR sets.

CrossroadsII Feedback

Here are a few words I received from those who brought Crossroads II that made me smile for hours and moved me to create a “gift” that I hope to release very soon. Thank you ladies for such warm, wonderful words!

Love the playfulness of CROSSROADS II:) And yes, I zoomed in and the details are PERFECT… I don’t know why but something in your creations make me want to cry?? LOL! Hahaha! It’s as if your emotions really reach out to us :)Donna

I have received my links for Crossroads II and I have to tell you I am absolutely blown away! Girlfriend, you never seize to amaze me! I love the whole Crossroads line. Ladies, if you haven’t bought it yet, you are missing out!- Vicki

I love it, am downloading and ooh-and aahing now – Nancy

Mabelle, had to come back here to say a big “Thank You” and a “Wow!” because I have just unzipped Crossroads II. It is a grey, dull morning here and the joy of opening up these dazzling colours and happy patterns! Love the textures! Love the ribbons! Love the patches! - Juno

THIS KIT IS BREATHTAKING!!!!!- Tammy

Full Bloom sampler

As promised, I made a Full Bloom sampler kit just for you. It is as detailed, as joyful and as bright as the rest of the kit! The unique felt picture-tag is adorable! (Link Expired) ! Just look what I did with it!

I made this layout for my friend Paten who is set to leave the country (Philippines) on Saturday. She will now be working overseas and traveling a lot. I will miss her terribly but I won’t show it when I see her for the last time in about 18 hours or so. She hates sweet and “gooey” moments and prefers the light and even funny ones that makes her laugh out loud. I plan not to hug too tight or even show how much I will miss her. I know she knows that already. I don’t plan on saying goodbye too, just a “see you soon” and a “keep in touch.”

I have a few close friends by choice. I used to make friends easily and trust quickly until I got hurt and broken, used and abused. The precious few I hold close to my heart I intend to keep forever. Paten is one of them.

I’m very sad she’s leaving.
…and THAT is an understatement.

I know you will miss your dear friend, but when God closes a door, he opens a window. Just look forward to whatever wonderful thing might fly in through that window! The wonderful thing about cell phones and email, one doesn’t have to lose touch like we oftentimes did “in the old days”.

Thank you so much for the lovely addition to our kits.

thank you my friend! This is so lovely! I’ll be eating it up, using it that is!

Sorry to hear that one of the good ones is going to be nearly out of reach. I say nearly, cause, you know that this important friendship is not going to fold up and dry out. Maybe in olden times but there is much to keep those ties in good shape. You are a good communicator, and girl you can make folk laugh right out loud, so i know you will refuse to let the sadness find a way into the friendship. Sadness is expected for the moment, but joy COMES!

    love you much. denise

    Dearest Mabelle,

I tell you, I am starting to hate leaving a comment for the simple fact that I just feel like I am saying the same thing over and over, because each time you show us something else and give us another FABULOUS piece I am lost for words to tell you just how special your work is and how beautiful I think your work is…you just keep outdoing yourself and I know my words aren’t adequate enough to tell you just how special your work and words are to me…but I do thank you Mabelle for another wonderful addition to this awesome kit and I can’t wait till I can purchase the entire Crossroads II line….

Thank you so much Mabelle for everything…

Your new kit is gorgeous. I’m very sorry to hear your friend will be moving. Thankfully, in this internet-age, you will be able to keep in touch with her. I know it’s not the same as “in person,” but it’s still a great way to communicate and still be a part of her daily life. Thank you so much for this beautiful sampler and for sharing the layout of your dear friend.

    Dear Mabelle
Thank you so much for the Full Bloom sampler today, so beautiful.

I´ve made two LO:s today and put up in MG2. One of my hubby and one of my youngest furbaby I lost some weeks ago. That was my first try to upload something, I hope I do everything right.

    Big hugs from

Oh Mabelle, I wish you could feel the sadness I feel at this very moment for you. I must tell you I worked in the same job for almost 30 years and I know from experience what you are going through. You really are blessed though Mabelle to have what many of us do or did not have and that is the love and support of so many friends that really care for you through your blog. Isn’t it amazing how we feel that we can come to know and really care for someone just through words? And words are all I have to give in a special prayer for you. A prayer that your sadness will soften and your heart will heal.
Now on to happier things…which is your Cross Roads II kit.
I am so excited to tell you that I bought it today. I can’t wait to get it and unzip it just to see your magic come alive. I really do love your work.

P.S. I am really moving slow with my lessons but I promise one day you will see a layout from me.

I’m feeling sad for you; it is so hard when a true friend leaves us. If we are blessed with a few true friends we are very lucky; others are just acquaintances. True friends remain friends even when there is a distance between them. My best friend of 30 years moved away aprox 25 years ago and we still are very close! I’m sure that you and your friend will remain very good friends despite the distance.
Thank you so much for the lovely sampler! Crossroads II is a gorgeous kit! I’m so happy that I purchased it the first day you had it out; I couldn’t wait to see everything; I knew it would be great!

So sorry your friend is leaving. I know what you mean about making friends and then they leave. That has happened many times over the years. Now I am the one that left when I found my wonderful husband. I went from Rhodes Island to Texas. I miss so many friends in RI.

Thank you again for the beautiful sampler kit. Love the layout you did of your friend, too.

This is such a great set. And thank you for the free additions (can’t wait to get my set, ). I’m still trying to catch up from being gone and have to tell you that I was very impressed with the Plastic Bag pdf. I have been considering buying the cloth bags for a while. Now I have added incentive to do so.
