For the last ten days, my hard disk crashed not once, or twice but three times. I was in the middle of doing two multimedia presentations for a major account. The third crash made me decide to give-up the second presentation – lost income. It had been a very trying period for me – and that is an understatement. Im so sorry if you waited for quite some time for me to post the second half of Lazy Daisies.
The second part contains the parts you see below. Lazy Daisies is a kit made out of sheer joy and fun! I took the time to really work on the details because one of my most treasured joys is to receive your comments and emails telling me that you feel like reaching out to your computer screens and touching what you see! LOL. THAT is very precious to me. That speaks so much of efforts well made.
I would like to post more at length about what I have been up to lately but the work I’ve had to set aside due to the crash is piling up and my deadlines are so close they leave so little room even for sleeping. I’ll get you up to speed in my next post!
In the meantime, here’s a preview of what’s coming you way real soon…. a sign of my deep appreciation for the loving words you leave here in my blog. I hope it’s apparent in the tiny details of everything I do. Have a great weekend and do whisper well wishes or prayers for me that I may fulfill my obligations soon so I can devote time in doing freebies for you! Hugs!
PS: The new pages in MG2 are enough to make me smile. I thank those who have posted and shared their work. Do post some more if you can. Oh, and by the way, Sprouts would work well with Lazy Daisies! I made them that way.
The Sprouts download links will soon be gone. And so is the Part1 of Lazy Daisies! Check your files and download immediately!
PS: To those who sent me emails… please give me a couple of days to get back to you. I still have to set my hard drive in order as I rush to finish my pending work stuff.

Dearest One,
Phew! I thought it was me. Can you believe life has been so crazy here I still have the last email (in response to your scolding one I might add) in my drafts folder? I just keep adding to it, but can’t send becuase I don’t have it complete. You’re going to have one heck of a novel to read once you’ve caught up on your backlog of work.
I am completely in love with this kit; but as usual haven’t had time to scrap a darn thing. Such is the life of Marching Band Season. Oh, and do I ever have some stories to tell you!!! They will have to wait however.
Thank you for the lovely addition to “Crossroads”. It’s amazing how the name you’ve chosen for this kit, at this specific time has kept me completely centered. Not a day has gone by that “Crossroads” hasn’t been an enormous part of my phsyche. I’m always in awe how our journies seem to evolve together!
Tell the Hubby We said HI!
Love, Hugs & Blessings…

Mabelle, thank you very much for the wonderful gifts! I love the colors and the textures; the flower is too cute!
I’ve been thinking of you often lately and figured you were really busy with work and probably were coming up to some deadlines…
You are in my thoughts and prayers…take good care of yourself!
PS. Eating and sleeping are not an option, they are a necessity!!!
August 14, 2008 2:52 pm
Much blessing on your gift to me, oh yea others too. Beautiful for more parts of your crossroads kit.
August 14, 2008 2:53 pm
Hey there, sweets! I’m so sorry to hear of the crashes… one reason I love my Mac (though they can crash, too.) In my case, my EHD backup disk was what crashed, so I lost the backup, not the main computer, but still a pain. And it was much newer than the computer. Crashes are never fun.
My infection still intractable, and I’m not sure when I will have the surgery. Within the next two weeks, I am sure. So I will be away a bit again. I doubt they allow the laptop in hospital, or if they do, probably not wireless internet!
Thank you for thinking of us; you are so giving and sharing! Beautiful, of course, but that goes without saying. All your work is!
Much love, Elaine

Oh, I hate computer crashes and to have 3 in a row-I’m so sorry that happened to you. Do your thing and don’t worry about us! We will survive (barely) without the freebies for awhile! Best wishes for success with your projects~!

Mabelle,
SO SORRY….to hear about your crashes! Must be in the air…mine crashed a couple of weeks ago and had to be completely erased and restored with my back up system. I didn’t lose nearly as much as you but I know how you feel.
Please don’t worry about us out here…..get your presentations/obligations met first. That is the priority.
The Princess and I will send prayers and hugs your way.

Hi Mabelle,
So sorry to hear about your crashes, certainly not good when it is the meat and potatoes of your livelihood. I have had a run of bad health that has delayed me getting my site up so may just leave it till the fall as like you not enough time to get everything done. As per the norm another kit that makes you long to be able to reach out and touch. Please don’t forget to look after yourself and continued prayers for you that you get all that needs to be done, done. Thank you so much Hun for being you.

OH MY GOODNESS! This is serious! I’m so sorry you had to forfeit a job–i know that you take such pride in your work, that it is probably not being able to finish the job, rather than losing income–although that’s no small thing!–that’s causing you more grief.
Every piece of crossroads that you put out or preview for us is just wonderful. I love it. I really enjoyed sprouts and really love the feel of the daisies! Thank you so much for your love and care with these.
blessings (whispered and shouted)

More free gifts.. many thanks. I love how you have such a wide array of talant- from your first soft colors to happy fairies to sprouts and now crossroads. Is there no limit to your imagination? I for one certainly hope not. (Bummer about your computer. I know that is a major stresser.) P.S. Figured out the designer I thought could have been you.

WOW – I just LOVE the frayed ends of the ribbon on your upcoming kit! Just one of the details that makes your stuff so special. Thanks for today’s freebies, and I’m so sorry to hear about your crashes – sending prayers up for you to be able to successfully complete what you need to.

Dear Mabelle,
Three crashes in a row! Bless your heart, it’s going to get better. Look at it this way, just maybe you have gotten all your computer problems out of the way for quite a while. Thanks so much for this latest addition, and I can’t wait to get my hands on that frayed ribbon! That is AWESOME!
Hugs & prayers,

Hi Mabelle,
So sorry to hear about your computer problems. Wow! What a bad time to have that happen. Thanks, too, for the fabulous additions today. I LOVE the details in each and everyone of your kits. That’s why you are MY FAVORITE DESIGNER! Best wishes for getting those deadlines met without any more problems.

so sorry to hear about your hard drive crash, I empathize with you! My external drive too just recently would not work, and I had just transferred all my scrap files and the stuff I bought in there without backing up in CD! I try not to think to much about it or I’ll cry! But yours is work related and well, I can just imagine! I hope though you get some rest okay? I’ll be keeping your thoughts in my prayers. Thank you for another great freebie!
August 15, 2008 9:55 am

Mabelle,
Oh Wow, these are stupendous, I love all of it;my favorite is the blue and green “scarf” part that’s unravelled, I absolutely love it! THANKS for your generosity, and hope your hard drive woes don’t come back.
August 15, 2008 3:45 pm
I just don’t think I could say it better than Angela in NC! She says it perfectly. I miss you when you’re away too, but certainly understand when something as drastic as 3 crashes PLUS work demands piles up on you.
I will take some time and enjoy trying to touch the fringe on this beautiful gift. Sending good wishes your way! {{hug}}
August 16, 2008 10:16 pm
Oh dear. I’m so sorry to hear about your computer crashes. It’s not much fun when you use it for personal things, but can be devastating when it involves your livelihood. I’m glad to see that you are handling it with a ‘grain of salt’ and hope that when you get a break, you take the time for yourself for a change.
August 17, 2008 12:25 am
Thank you Mabel, hope your HD has started behaving itself!
August 18, 2008 8:20 pm
Hi Mabelle!
I knew something must be up! How awful to lose your work that you depend on for your income. I’m going back in to purchase one of your kits as a token help…
Have to agree with Julie above – that scarf made me stop in my tracks to examine it!
Thanks!
