I am in the middle of a VERY heavy webwork load and a bit of island travel this week and the next. I don’t think I can squeeze enough time within the next two weeks to finish the Granny Series. However, my current webwork gives me the opportunity to develop a new design line. I’ve named it ISLAND GIRL. You will notice that it’s almost similar to the color palette of My Granny’s Sewing Room. However, expect it to be “younger” and grungier with a fun feel of “the islands” just like Goodbye to Summer. (Think of Island Girl as a cross of Granny’s Sewing Room “approach and palette” and the “style” of Goodbye to Summer. It will have a touch of both “heritage” and girl-grunge!)

Here’s a peek of what’s heading your way AFTER I finish My Granny’s Place! In the meantime, I will be posting small (but pretty) stuff (like this one) in the next few days as I try to find the time to finish Granny’s last room THIS month. Its going to be the last room for THIS series of four and I really have to end it with something wonderful! I really need more time on this.
I’ve received LOTS of personal emails lately and I would like to thank you all for it. My apologies if I have not answered any despite the fact that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading every single one of them (most specially those about YOUR grannies!). As I’ve said, I’m in the middle of heavy, heavy work. (By the time you read this, I think I’ll be on my way to an island EIGHT travel-hours away for the weekend! LOL! Not for fun – I wish! But heavy, pressing work!) However, do keep those emails (and guesses) coming! Download the previously posted freebies if you still haven’t. Some have just expired.
