Color Palette II

Scarletheels has unconsciously started a “pay-it-forward” cycle by gifting me with a download link when I posted my thank you on her blog for downloading her freebie. (Up to now, I find it soooo cool that someone would thank me for thanking her for giving me a freebie! LOL!) The idea was so over the top that I just had to do the same thing. Instead of ranting that people take the time to download my freebies without posting even a single word of “thanks,” I decided to instead focus on the ones who do by gifting them with an exclusive freebie – just like Scarletheels.

The funny thing is because I did (and I took the time to help her open RAR files in Mac – which is nothing out of the ordinary since I want people to be able to open my freebies anyway); Amanda Bohm gave me a freebie herself! LOL! (BTW, I love it Amanda! Thank you!)

This all leaves a warm, fuzzy, loving feeling over me – the kindness and generosity of people who do take the time to say thanks, take the time to reply to emails, take the time to make something beautiful for others for free leaves me speechless.

I had to travel another 2 hours by land from where I am staying to reach this peak and get this view!

The “4-leaf clover” charm is working – my proposal got approved so I needed to travel. I’m currently in a heart-shaped island that’s 3 hours land travel and 3 hours sailing, from the Metro (plus another hour and half of land travel after getting off the ship and another 2 to get that view in the photo above! No wonder I’m so tired!) I am completely surrounded by water and loving it! The blog posts I’ve read about this place were all correct: time stands still here and the rustic, earthy feel of the place and the warmth of the people are spell-binding! The moment I set foot on the island and savored all its colors, I knew I have decided right on my 2nd palette for the Goodbye to Summer II Kit – this second kit mutates the bright colors of summer days to the early evening colors of summer. I call it Colors at Dusk  - Goodbye to Summer Kit II. (The locals were all looking at me “weirdly” every time I pick a dried leaf to tuck in my bag! I’d like to shoot and digitize some leaves for another kit soon! LOL)

This 44mb+ kit, in just one download link, is headed your way soon…. Just let me tweak a few minute details (seems like the 34 hours I spent doing EVERY element in this kit isn’t enough! Yes, I timed myself! LOL!) and it’ll be yours faster than you can say “download!” In the meantime, let me savor the island for just another day more before I head back to the city where everything happens at the speed of light. Thanks for wishing me luck!

Breath taking view. Hurry back! You’re keeping me at my tippy toes. I haven’t finished my digiscrap with your special freebie. I made 3 but not satisfied enough to post it. I’ll try to finish it next week after this mooncake party event I’m preparing with my in-laws this Saturday.

    Ta-ta for now.

Hi, me again! I just opened up my files and was SO thrilled I had the whole End of Summer kit, And, it had lime green (my fav color), And, all the pieces of ribbon were gorgeous, And, everything in all the kits was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! I am mostly a jewel tone person, but any rich vibrant color I love, especially the fall ones, and it’s burgundy for Christmas for me! Your papers were sooooo awesome, the patterns and all (flourishes)! I just had to tell you! I have bought kits, and gotten freebies, and I have gotten kits that were loaded and didn’t have the beautiful touches you have with what I just got. I just needed to let you know – Thank you was not enough for me – sorry, but I am SO grateful, and I didn’t know how else to get all that into those 2 words! God Bless and PLEASE don’t stop creating!
