This set is ready for scrapping! Add a photo, type a line or two and voila! You’re done! Try and make the photos you will use a bit “older” though. It will make the colors of the sheets stand out more. There are two online photo websites that can help you spice up your photos (like making them look old) effortlessly. I checked both sites out and they’re good:
- Editor – has more choices and is in English
- Wanokoto – here’s the link to make your photo look old. I have no idea if they offer more photo manipulation services because I can’t understand a thing – everything is in Japanese!
Making your photos look vintage will also work well with the Watercolor Dreams collection like Jessica or Isabel. It’s what the kit is all about – old memories.
Thank you for supporting the site. The Let Go Let Love pre-selling is now closed with 20kits sold in 5 days. It helped ease some of the huge expenses I incurred (and continue to incur) putting the site back. The sale also allowed me to buy one “sewing” tool that will enable me to digitally “sew” some more stuff. Thank you for enabling me to do this. The current design lines I’m studying right now involves much “sewing.” I spend days studying some techniques. I experiment with a few “directions” and create to simply see if something can be used in scrapping or not! Some creations don’t make it past the “testing” stage. Some go as far as being packed but eased off at the last minute. The best of the lot goes to you. Above all, I create in line with how I feel about certain memories. It has to “feel” right with how I remember people and events.
Below is the entire line of Let Go Let Love finally unveiled and available for purchase at US$2.00 per kit. It’s a very “happy” line. Take your pick which one to get for your private collection. Do take the time to zoom in on some previews to check the tiniest of details I added to make everything look real – from the sheet textures to the distressing, down to the layering of “sewn” materials (and even the plastic peeling” off some elements).
I hope you like the sampler.
I have three more freebie releases under this line. Watch out for it. Do share some of the pages you will scrap using this kit. I’d love to post them in the Gallery. Click here to find out how.
For those who have asked if I look just like my new mascot, (LOL!) click here for a photo of me taken a less than a year ago. I’m sorry if its several months old. It’s the latest photo I have. Being married to a photographer does not make me any fonder of having my pictures taken =) Enjoy the sampler!

Sharon, your feedback is always welcome and needed… Pre-selling is something Im always “scared” to do – It shows me if people will trust me enough to buy something I made without seeing anything. So why do I do it? I have to. To push me. I need to push myself to always, always deliver beyond what is expected. I can’t be complacent. I need to learn stuff. I need to explore new ways. I need to be “better” than I was yesterday =) Above all, I need to be me — to not compromise my work and simply conform with what is “in.” Very hard to do. But its the support of friends like you that make it possible for me to do just that. Thank you so much for the support.

I love all the birds, and I’m with you on that tag – spectacular!
May 14, 2011 3:39 pm
Hi Sharon, That dang tag had about 45 layers of work on it! LOL! Haha! I loved how the birds turned out too. Homey. Not cartoonish. Just crafty. =) I’m working on something that’s almost the same as this line but still very different. Haha! If you love this line, you’re gonna have a blast with the coming one =) If Let Go is my first “happy” line in 4 years. The next line is going to be my first “funny” kit ever! =) Thank you soooo much for the support! Please share your pages so I can post them in the Gallery! =)

Funny…. just two weeks ago I searched for you and all I could find where some lonesome sites. I had ended up at Myscrapworks and assumed you had disappeared forever!
However, I saw a very familiar link on 5star digital scrapbooking so I hit enter, and here you are!
I’ve come along way since the last time I had visited your site. And I just turned designer too
Glad to see you around again. Have a great weekend!

Im so happy for you Sandra =) I truly am. So many of you here are designers now and that scares me 10x more! Now I dont just have “discriminating” scrappers but designers looking at my work! LOL! =) Do drop in often to share and chat! =) Just like old times.

Mabelle – y0u’re very pretty! You should have your hubby take more pics.
But, I can relate – I like to be the photographer, not the photographed… (I hate to have my photo taken)

Thank you Lizanne!
Ive been trying to send you an email – password for the bloom frame. But my mail keeps bouncing! Any thoughts?

It was great to see your more recent photo… as one who has passed to the “other” side of 50 a couple of years ago, no biggie, we have earned our faces, haven’t we? I will never be beautiful in the fashion model sense of the world, but it only matters that we are beautiful to those that love us. I wrote a longer comment in your blog post of a few days ago, just a few minutes ago. I am finally over the flu. Missed being one of the first 20, too, but also no biggie. You are a star in my sky! I don’t hang out for the freebies, but the gift of your friendship is the draw. Thank you, though, for the gifts to scrap with. Now to try to get a “gravatar”. It doesn’t want to let me…
BTW, I need to set up a WordPress blog/site… it’s time.
XOXOXO.
