Island Girl Choco Chipboard Alphas
Here’s another alpha set thats a perfect match to the Island Girl line – Choco Chip(board) Alphas. While I have already issued two alpha sets under the Island Girl line (Deco Alphas and the Color of the Sea Alphas) , I decided to issue a third one thats NOT metallic just in case you would like to go for the all “natural” look in your layouts. I included a question mark, an exclamation point and a period in the set. Sorry, link expired.

If you want to know the story behind “Island Girl” read post AFTER the previous one. Do drop by again as there’s another great Island Girl freebie coming up REAL soon!

The strewn ribbons are HIS creations!

Meet one great digiscrapper. For the last two weeks, I have been in constant touch with a scrapper from Spain. He’s male(!) – a fact I never knew when I started swooning over his layouts! Haha! I love the way he would approach a layout design and the way he would “treat” elements.

I loved the way he scrapped MY kits so I asked him if he can continue doing so, so I can post his work to inspire you ladies. Uhmmmm… I believe I just got me my first “CT! LOL! Cool!

Ladies, meet Ignacio Molina. His previous layouts have been cited in several sites, scraplifted by some and viewed/commented upon by hundreds. He’s really a regular, great guy! Ignacio’s work can be seen in his blog, as well as in Flickr. Ladies, please welcome Ignacio and I promise you’ll see more of his work using my kits in this blog!

Footnote: To those who emailed me or posted that they feel lucky that they stumbled into this blog, allow me to correct you. You feel lucky because you’ve found great freebies – so you say. You consider my work “great?” I feel humbled. That makes me as “lucky” as you for I have found just the right people who appreciate my design slant and who think my work qualifies as “great” — two store owners didn’t think so remember?

But I am luckier. It is because of this blog that I have found great friends who all have the gift of being able to hold my hands across the miles and prod me to just take everything one step at a time… It is through this blog that I hear from people like you who email or post to share your stories. Tell me, where else or in what scrapping site do people do that other than share their layouts? In some sites, I find myself amazed at the kind of work/layouts people share to inspire others. Here in this blog, I find myself humbled by the stories shared by the people who visit. Guess which I’d rather have anytime?

Thank you for the warm welcomes you have given my “Granny” and “Island Girl.” Know that I will always refuse to “design” and remain true to just letting my “memories” do the job. (LOL!)

Great addition to a beautiful kit! I am a grandmother and make pages for my little grandson where I enjoy using cute baby kits. But your kits are such a breath of fresh air. I can use them for family vacations and “grown up” pages. Thank you for adding such quality and variety to my scrapping supplies.

Ignacio’s blog is inspirational. How lucky you are to have such a talented “one man” CT.

Ignacio has done some really amazing layouts with your kits. Such a wonderful blend of talent. BTW I have been trying to get your blinkie on my blog, but all I’m getting is the dreaded red x. Any suggestions?
