I’m almost done with the ribbons and rubons set of the Goodbye to Summer Kit. Some people would say that those are just ribbons and it shouldn’t take as much time! Duh. I scrap traditionally with a very keen eye for details. I wouldn’t have it any other way too for digi-scrapping. It is all in the details… every little thing that goes into every piece.
- The brown dotted ribbons are painstakingly done. No patterns there.
- The brown ribbon with the lace took quite a while because I wanted the “lace” to adhere as “naturally” to the ribbon like I would see it in trad.
- The blue linen ribbon has a “running stamp” of patterns that’s even “peeling” a bit for that “distressed, laid back” look and
- the frayed ribbon in cross-hatched cloth comes with a delicate watermark of leaves that will surely catch the eye (I love the frayed one! It will go so well with the aqua-colored sheet!).
Every piece was lovingly done with as much attention to detail as I can muster. Why? FOR the people who take the time to post their comments here (some sent me emails directly!). You’ve made me do something beautiful, not “churned” to simply post something and be done with it. Nah. No way. You deserve something special. These are made just for you… Give me a few days more to finish the set and it’ll be all yours. Just let me catch my breath and attend to my pending work stuff first and I’ll have a go at it for the last remaining rub-ons that I am including. I’m leaving out of town this coming week and I would like to leave with the thought that you are scrapping with a kit I made just for you guys.

hi mabs!
thanks for sharing your talent to the world.
you got rest up.
i’m still entertaining my h2b over here and will be back to the scrapping world by next week. i hope to finish a trad layout that’s been bugging me for so long since i didn’t have the prpoer supplies that would finish it. yes, amazingly enough – all my stash at home didn’t have what i needed. i had to constantly visit scrapstores online and Hobbes/Smile to see what comes up.
hugs!
