Something BIG is coming up in the next few days and I’m really VERY excited about it (I hope you are too!). Island Girl is just about ready to make her entrance and as a prelude to how “pretty” she is going to be, I decided to go post the Island Girl matching alpha set in advance! The alpha set does not only reflect the color of the sea as I saw it in the island I visited previously… It perfectly matches the entire kit – the look, feel and the wonder of it all! Just look at the picture!

I said “pristine clear waters” in a previous post right? I wasn’t exaggerating. Now you believe me? The elements you see in the preview, the background paper, the foam stamped butterfly… these are all part of the Island Girl kit! I tried to make every sheet, every element, every color and detail REFLECT HOW I SAW THE ISLAND! Island Girl is an awesome design line – not because of how I made it but because of how I was able to make it reflect the rustic feel of the place! And it’s coming your way sooner than you think!
Just keep visiting the blog in the next few days. I plan to surprise you!

This is amazing! What island is this? I must have missed that post. I have two paper scrapbooks of Hawaii that I’m redoing digitally, and this will be perfect for that. Thank you!

I love that picture! It makes me want to dive right into the water and pretend I’m a fish.
Silly, I know. I love the Island Girl… the cool wavy watery alphas are really nice.
I am enjoying this. I live on the West Coast of the US, now, but the only place I have been to with water like this was when I used to go down to the Florida Keys for vacation before I moved to the other side of the country. I haven’t been to Hawaii yet… and the parts of South America I have visited did NOT have water like that!
Love and hugs, Elaine

Mainstream? Definitely not! But who wouldnt want to stand out, and you do Mabelle, gosh seeing your work is like you reading my mind and translating what I cannot myself do. I just totally get your work and your designs and love your style. I’m proud of you my fellow “Pinay”, you go girl! Not hard to see why so many love your work – it just speaks so much in volumes what we cannot express in words.
