One of those who posted in my very first blog entry said that I shouldn’t mind those who downloaded my kit but didn’t post any comment. She said that the fact that it is continuously being downloaded should be enough reason for me feel good that people love my work. She has a point. The same way those who design kits feel that a simple post of thanks is enough reward for their hours of work. They too (we too, LOL, I’ve started designing my own kits I forgot!) have a point. Fair deal? One word – “thanks” – for about 2-3 hours of work? Uhmmm…. I think so. As I’ve always said – scrappers, be they trad or digital ones, are a caring, sharing lot.
So allow me to do what Scarletheels did to me a few days ago – reward me for thanking her! (LOL! – Funny! I downloaded her digi and thanked her. Then she thanked me back with a special goodie! LOL! She’s THAT cool!)
This time, I’d like to count my blessings. I’d like to focus on those people who did post. I’d like to thank them with something that took 2 hours for me to do. (Yup, my brain was in slow motion with barely 2 and a half hours of sleep last night finishing something I needed to present very early this morning. Instead of jumping to bed upon arriving home, I decided to do this special sheet for the people who made me smile with their posts.) People who posted-back, most specially those that did in my first blog entry, made me feel good about my first kit. I’ve sent everyone a link to these goodies as a way of thanking them. (I’ve made a post-cutoff in the comments sections so you will know who you are!)
I made an ink-stamped, distressed special sheet under the Goodbye to Summer Line. I am also adding two flower rubons (one for light-colored sheets and one for dark) with the line that goes “I have a pocketful of sunshine in my heart. I have summer inside of me.” — because that is exactly what each of your posts gave me — pockets of sunshine. Special thanks to Kotz for the “stamp” design for the leaves.
(The rub-ons against swatches of the Goodbye to Summer kit for viewing purposes only.)
Do continue to drop me a few lines, a word or two. You have no idea how your posts spur me to continue making freebies with an hour or two taken from rest, sleep or TV (LOL! Except when it’s CSI and Boston Legal! I wouldn’t miss them for the world!) No regrets, really. Your post-backs are definitely worth every minute of “toil” (LOL)… In fact, the first kit got “paid in full” when Melanie dropped in to say hi. (I love her work -have you downloaded everything?!?- as much as I love Scarlet’s and Bren’s!). Melanie’s post made my day!
Thank you all for dropping by. The rub-ons and the ribbons of the Goodbye to Summer kit will be available very soon! Keep those comments coming!

I’m speechless! Well, almost… This is gorgeous! Like you, I would never expect to be rewarded for thanking someone for giving me something beautiful for free but since you’re doing that very thing (like the super talented MiYon!) then THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU yet again!
This paper is wonderful! I never fail to be blown away by the talent and generosity of my digiscrappin’ “freebie” designer friends. You all are the best!
((((BIG hugs!!!))))

Oh no……I got a wonderful freebie only for saying my humble thank you!!!!!
Yet, I have to say THANK YOU again…..LOL
That green paper is just something else.
I usually don’t fancy green, but THAT green is making me feel HAPPY.
Hugs and blessings.

Why has it taken me so long to get here?????
I’m so sorry, hon. The banner looks delish! I love the site’s look!
You know, I hate to pester people for thank yous but, seriously, a thank you takes about 30 seconds. If you have time to download, don’t you have time to thank the person who’s giving you something for FREE? I’ll always still offer my stuff whether I get a thank you or not but I should be honest and say that reading people’s gratitude certainly makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks for the freebies. I’ll bookmark your page!

Found my way here via Scarletheels and I think you have every right to ask for a thank you for your work. What a ditz to think that just seeing the downloads would suffice. Does she design? Probably not.
